Palace Casino Resort
Palace Casino Resort’s undertook a large-scale expansion and renovation project in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The resort’s 110,000-square-foot renovation project, of which 64,000 square feet is an expansion of its facilities and amenities, was the largest casino expansion on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since the storm.
The property included 38,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,000 slot machines and 26 new table games including a high limit salon. The expansion and renovation project includes a new 300-seat buffet, a new 24-hour grill, a new upscale lounge/sports bar, fine dining, and bringing back popular amenities lost in the storm.
