ABOUT US

Our approach:
It's about YOU

Hospitality Development Consulting approaches each project with a collaborative spirit and one goal — to help you achieve your goals. We serve as an extension of the owner’s team, to help you find meaningful solutions, and achieve meaningful goals.

We offer a total development solution. We are able to locate things inside the machine and seek the labor that offer the best solution and return for both the project and the client.

We create projects for you, with you.

Hospitality Development Consulting’s approach is:

THOROUGH

From the broadest objective to the tiniest detail, we can review, evaluate and monitor all stages of the development process. As an owner’s program manager or representative, our goal is to meet or exceed your expectations at every level.

CUTTING EDGE

Not only will the most current equipment and technology be evaluated, but the latest construction techniques will be assessed as well. Options will be considered on a value-engineering basis in order to provide the best product for the budget.

RELIABLE

Integrity is a platform on which all our team members have operated throughout their careers. The ethical standards of our management and staff are beyond reproach, putting the best interests of the client first in all situations.

Every development has a story.

Bob and I each spent our careers focused on helping clients find, define, celebrate, and highlight what makes their facilities, communities, and cultures unique. We are excited to partner in this new way to realize client visions and celebrate their uniqueness!

FEATURE PROJECT

Site selection

Bob Kelly, while with Innovation Project Development, provided program management services for the initial 19-story Potawatomi Hotel.

They worked collaboratively with both management and the design team to maximize the budgeted amount within site restrictions due to the river, traffic, and zero lot line construction.

The strategic planning of the original hotel allowed the expansion to happen.

Potawatomi Hotel & Casino's $80 million expansion, designed by Tom Hoskens while a principal at Cuningham, adds a new spa, additional meeting space, and 119 new rooms and suites to the building’s original hotel tower. It is now the second largest hotel in the city with 500 total rooms.
